After 12 years together, long-term couple Angela and Richard tied the knot in an intimate family-centred celebration in Glasgow city centre. Angela’s sisters had a last-minute dash when they got the groom ‘something new’ to wear – on the morning of the wedding!
At the ceremony, Richard’s daughter gave a reading of Bob Marley’s He’s Not Perfect in a day that was filled with special moments, including a surprise for the groom, as Angela reveals: “I organised two vintage wedding cars as a treat for my husband to be.” The newlyweds also enjoyed a spontaneous trip on the carousel on George Square.
Angela was enviably decisive when it came to her dress: “I found my dress online in Monsoon and when I tried it on in the shop, I loved it. It was the first dress I saw,” she reveals.
When it came to getting the day on camera, the couple knew what they wanted: “a photographer who could capture the atmosphere of the day to give us photographs that we would be able to share with friends and family. We loved Duncan’s pictures as they seemed to show us naturally smiling and having a beautiful day,” says Angela.

Venue The ceremony took place in the Clyde Suite on Montrose Street, one of Glasgow City Council’s marriage venues, with a reception afterwards at Browns Brasserie on George Square.
