Add a sprinkling of space dust to your big day

It was one small step for man and a giant leap for mankind when Neil Armstrong landed on the moon; similarly, it’s one big metaphorical leap down the aisle for any bride on her big day. Such a momentous occasion deserves a fitting piece of jewellery. Eclectic Eccentricity can’t quite offer the moon on a stick, but it’s not that far off with its latest launch. The design team at the quirky jewellery house has created a limited-edition necklace that includes real moon dust taken from a lunar meteorite that fell to earth in 2005. Lunar meteorites are very rare (only around 180 examples have ever been discovered), meaning that these super-cute neckpieces are made in a limited run of 100.

Each necklace features a glass teardrop vial filled with tiny pieces of moon dust and sparkling gold star charm hanging from an 18” sterling silver chain. For brides-to-be who love stargazing or simply adore totally unique pieces, it is a gift that will eclipse all others (pun intended!).

‘If I Could Give You The Moon’ necklace, £120 from Eclectic Eccentricity.
