For the third year running, Eleganza Sposa has sponsored the Glasgow Caledonian University Fashion Business fourth-year project. The luxury Glasgow bridal designer and retailer set the students the task of designing beautiful occasionwear dresses for its Eleganza Collezioni special-occasion range. A bridesmaid’s gown [right], designed by student Gillian MacDonald, was selected as the winner. Her prize: a six-month design internship with the brand, and £500 towards the production of her gown. Gillian was made up with her win: “I was so happy to be chosen as the winning dress design; it was a complete shock at first but something that has been really self-affirming after going through the stress of Honours year at university!”
