The team at House for Henderson has a good reason to celebrate after being named ‘Groomswear Supplier of the Year’ at the 2015 Scottish Wedding Awards in Glasgow.
The Stirling-based company is one of the oldest kiltmakers in Scotland and faced-off strong competition from kilt suppliers across the country to nab the prestigious title.
Jordan, who runs the business with his father Barry, said: “This flattering award marks an exciting time for Hendersons as the business continues to thrive. We’re proud to prepare groomsmen from Stirling and beyond for the big moments in their lives including hundreds of happy wedding days.
“We’re looking towards a flourishing new chapter at Hendersons as we begin to develop new product ranges, whilst maintaining the traditional quality and family values my grandfather’s business was founded on.”
Hendersons sells and hires kilts from its original premises in Stirling, as well as via an online site to customers across the globe. The family business’ personal service and traditional quality tartans were counted among the many reasons for the retailer’s big win at the 2015 ceremony.
