It felt like spring had finally sprung last night as sunshine flooded Eleganza Sposa’s gorgeous Bath Street boutique and we celebrated the launch of the Spring/Summer Collezioni range.
As we sipped on gorgeous cocktails and nibbled on almost-too-cute-to-eat canapes we chatted to some of the team and some excited Eleganza brides. We were suitably star-struck when we spotted MOG of the moment Judy Murray and her milliner of choice William Chambers across the crowded boutique.
As ever, the catwalk thrilled, with Eleganza’s in-house creations sharing the runway with the latest addition to the boutique, Turkish designer Tarik Ediz. The intricate metallic beading on his gowns was utterly breathtaking, and perfect for brides looking to make a fashion-forward statement on their big day. From Solange-esque capes to cutting edge crop tops it was a full house for 2015’s hottest trends bingo.
The new S/S pieces from Eleganza Sposa were equally as enchanting. It was the boldest collection yet for the boutique with all the gorgeous embellishment and appliqué that’s become the brand’s signature, but with daring illusion hemlines and necklines as well as some sultry navy and black styles alongside some seasonal blush and pastel tones.
Eleganza’s chosen charity for the event this year was the Beatson Cancer Charity, a fantastic cause that does so much to help those suffering from cancer: from funding complimentary therapies to specialist medical posts and equipment. We had our fingers crossed as the raffle was drawn but luck wasn’t on Team BSW’s side and we missed out on fabulous prizes including a gorgeous ready-to-wear William Chambers hat, £500 voucher for a stunning outfit from the new Eleganza Collezioni and £300 credit at Agent Provocateur.
